Radiant and ethereal synth layers shimmer and merge throughout this 35 minute release by Prada & Oregon - a project of Susan Balmar.
Composed from multiple cassette loops, each one exists as a separate entity. Evolving over time, these finally coalesce to become a requiem to death itself.
"Like a dream-creature, it sits and gathers sounds around itself, creating a sonic fur of surreal lustrous brilliance. Otherworldly and inhuman but completely intuitive—it seems so organic as to be almost sentient—listening to you while you listen to it, as confused and bewildered as you are. This is a tape with two sides but 13 dimensions."
These two sprawling 20-minute electronic pieces offer both crackling, otherworldly textures and moments of surprising beauty. Bandcamp New & Notable Jan 15, 2023

Funny story about this tape... I was looking for the cassette and I got lucky on Discogs. Only the tape was 60 bucks but I took a HUGE chance and bought it, without even listening to the whole thing. When I popped it in the ride, from Amber onwards... it was absolutely mindblowing. From the transitions to the overall vibe of the record, Bun and Delofi have outdone themselves with a timeless classic that will be revisited for years to come. Hashquatch
